ABOUT ME

Writing has been my biggest fascination for two decades now. While studying English literature, writing, and editing at Jacksonville University, I aimed to enhance my storytelling abilities. I graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English, minor in writing, and Certificate in Editing in April 2018. Then, I went on to pursue a graduate degree at Emerson College in Boston; I received my M.A. in Publishing and Writing, summa cum laude, in December 2021.
I pride myself on my ability to apply my writing and editing skills across a wide range of industries and content types, including education, marketing, web content, creative writing, storytelling, and more. I currently work as a full-time copywriter for a travel company, but pursue my other writing-related passions on the side as a freelance proofreader for Penguin Young Readers (Penguin Random House) and as a Writing Coach at WriteAtHome, Inc.
I'm always looking for opportunities to do more of what I love. I'm especially interested in editing creative fiction and nonfiction, as well as academic articles and essays about the following topics: humanities, the arts, history, and literature.
