The power of the written word has fascinated me for over a decade. While studying English, writing, and editing at Jacksonville University, my intent was to enhance my storytelling abilities. I graduated with a BA in English and a Certificate in Editing in April 2018, which led me to pursue my MA in Publishing and Writing at Emerson College in Boston.

After writing a dozen YA and children’s books, I honed my editorial skills through tutoring, teaching, and taking countless editing classes. I now edit YA and children’s books as a freelancer for Penguin Random House while working as a full-time proofreader for Clark+Elbing LLP. I joined WriteAtHome's team of Writing Coaches in 2018 and spent three years teaching middle and high schoolers varying levels of writing skills while editing a myriad of pieces; due to my wide-ranging experience in academic, creative, web, and news writing, I can easily adapt my editing skills to any industry.
I currently live in Boston, MA with two co-editing kitties and 40 different houseplants. I'm always looking for opportunities to do more of what I love. Contact me for a quote on editing your project.
